Group classes

One-to-one lessons
Just you and Héctor. Four different lesson types depending on what you want to work on — all adapted to your level.
Conversation is, basically, just that. We talk about different topics and I usually include some tips on grammar, or repeat things in a way that lets you figure out by yourself how to say it correctly.

I choose or write a text adapted to your level and focused on the things I want you to learn. With these lessons we practise pronunciation as well as grammar indirectly, but effectively — and vocabulary, of course. Texts for beginners are a bit nonsense, because I focus on the language; for advanced students I prepare texts about culture or interesting things about Spain.

Spanish Premium is a mix of reading and conversation. I usually follow two methods. First: I send you an audio before the lesson and, during our class, we talk about that topic and then read the text — practising listening comprehension with different accents, reading comprehension and active use of the vocabulary you just learned. Second: we read a (usually simple) text in Spanish and translate it to English to make sure you understand everything, then we do the reverse: from English to Spanish! It may seem difficult, but students usually do great and pick up structures and vocabulary very fast without heavy grammar.

Spanish for Beginners is the method I am preparing for English speakers who want to learn Spanish from scratch or who are starting their journey. I adapt the Language Transfer method to the Spanish from Spain and include many texts, using the same technique as in Spanish Premium (first Spanish to English, then English to Spanish). You learn Spanish in an easy, fun and very logical way.

Lesson packages
A package is a bundle of lessons you pay for once and use whenever you like. Using it is automatic: book as usual and enter the same email you bought the package with — the lesson is deducted, with no payment step.
Packages exist for every lesson type — conversation, reading, premium, beginners and group — in bundles of 5 or 10 lessons. Current prices are shown in the purchase form.
